On a beautiful Saturday with weather in the 70s and plenty to do including watching MAC rugby championships at Brimelow fields and on brewery patios, 9 Hounds sacrificed their day to raise funds for the Midwest Rugby Development Foundation by working in a massive warehouse. These 9 individuals worked pallet jacks and moved hundreds of 40lb boxes all day, (well, at least the 2 that weren’t too hungover that left in 2 hrs but at least they showed), with 3 of them working in a negative 10 degree freezer for 6 hours. We enjoyed getting to meet and work with some newer Hounds and have a beer with them after, while re-connecting with DanO, Sam and Grimmace and was not surprised that those 3 stepped up for their club as they have continued to do for a long time now to raise $1,500 for the Foundation. One warehouse supervisor told me that Drew Binegar, Robert Hernandez and Dakota Hefner were a massive help to the project at hand in the dry section, about 60 degrees warmer than the MEN in the freezer but who’s counting. They nominated Nathan and Jake as best dressed.

Thank you to you 10 individuals below for stepping up and raising $1,500 for the club!
