It was a wild weekend for the CRFC Wolfhounds and Queen City RFC Frogs as they combined forces once again to become the FrogDogs and dominated the rugby field. The weekend was packed with back-to-back games and exciting plays, but the FrogDogs managed to come out on top with several impressive victories.

The first win came at the Columbus Castaways rugby tournament, where 2 combined teams went 5-0 and the FrogDogs took home the championship. It was an outstanding performance that showcased the skill and determination of the players. And the best part? The FrogDogs won 45-5 over Scioto Valley/Ohio State in the final, proving once again that they are a force to be reckoned with.

To top it off, the first side accepted a forfeit in their final match of the second day, securing their place in the championship match the next day.

In addition to the Columbus tournament, the FrogDogs also had a developmental game against Xavier University Rugby Football Club hosted at Brimelow Fields. And guess what? They took home the win! It was a fantastic effort from the entire team, showcasing their depth of talent and commitment to the sport. The FrogDogs second side also had an impressive win against Xavier, with a final score of 41-19.

Overall, it was a weekend filled with excitement and victories for the FrogDogs. And we can’t forget to thank the Columbus Castaways Rugby Club for a great event and hosting, and Xavier University Rugby Football Club for being a great opponent; both making the weekend even more memorable.

So congratulations to the FrogDogs on their amazing wins, and keep up the great work on the rugby field. Who knows what they’ll achieve next – maybe world domination? (Just kidding, but you never know).
