Wolfhounds and Grayhounds,
There are currently dozens of pictures (boxed and framed), jerseys, trophies, and other items from the past 49 years of Wolfhound rugby covered in soot and at risk of being permanently ruined in the event that the basement floods. We came to the conclusion that we will need to gather as large a group as possible to the house in order to get it sorted, cleaned, and put into storage. Heidrich is organizing some storage space for us, and we need volunteers to meet at the house at noon on the Saturday after the season (November 12th) in order to get the work done. We need the help of all available Grayhounds and active Wolfhounds to help preserve as much of the club’s history as possible, so please do what you can to make yourself available to help out. Again, we will be meeting at the house at noon next Saturday, November 12th.
In addition, if you have power drills, work gloves, or masks to help with the built-up soot, please plan to bring that out.
We’ll see everyone there on the 12th at noon.
